BadA$$ Thursday - Thirsty? Thankful?

Morning team!

Hope everyone is having a great week.  I am getting into the swing of this new program.  Down four lbs since Friday!  Not saying it's not necessarily all water weight though.  Going back on Saturda to get my BF tested again.

Just thought I'd start us off.  Crazy morning ahead of me.  Will check back in a bit!

Morning team.

Two more work days before my long-awated vacation.  That should have me riding high but I've got the blues for some reason.  Oh well, just part of being me  :^/

Cardio this morning, and my last UBWO for a few weeks tomorrow (where we're going there is no gym, just a sump to dig and lots of tent pegs to hammer).

Morning! I didn't quite hit my ten in cardio this morning. My calves gave out before I did. No matter how much I stretch, I always have problems with tight calf muscles....

I am also super excited about our vacation. Mostly because I don't have to get up at 5am for two whole weeks!

So... are you guys taking a vacation from doing BFL too?

There are loads of workouts you can do when you're on the road without access to gyms...  just sayin'

We are... sort of.  This particular vacation is very much of the physically demanding sort, especially for me (digging, toting, fighting, etc).

Plus we can only shower once a day, and doing that prior to sun-down is no good.  Oh, AND we won't be preparing much of our own food.

We've done Pennsic six times, and I've never come back in worse shape than I left.  In fact, I usually pick up a decent bit of muscle mass from digging the sump.

Hey Team! I just have a quick second to post this morning. I had the BEST spin class last night. I really went all out and it felt so great! Today I'm headed in for an UBWO and Abs. After I pick DS up from preschool we're off for a playdate then another one later in the afternoon. Have a great day everyone!

Tomorrow I am going to do a kick butt work out.. Going to try those Pile squats.Eeekk. I will also have to do some food prep to take with me for the weekend.

Hi all!  Barb, where did Becky mention -4lbs...?  Did I miss something big?  That's awesome!

I'm down four lbs in a week.  I think it's a mix of water weight, being more conscious of what I'm eating and working out.

DH had wine last night and he's eaten pastas and homefries type stuff every night for dinner!!!  It means that I've been making a second meal for myself.  All meats and veggies pour moi!

My gym is STILL closed down from the fire.  Going to have to figure something out with what I've got in da house. I have enough things that I should be able to whip together a decent workout.  I STILL have DOMS from Monday night!  Unbelieveable shoulder and peck DOMS.  Sheesh.   Guess they are muscles I don't normally use... sigh.

Clean eats for several days now!  Heading into the long weekend... hopeful that I won't be overly tempted.  We will likely eat out a bit so I can count on extra sodium - never mind extra calories if I'm not VERY specific in how to prepare stuff.
